We’ve
got two books to recommend to you. Both of these are great ‘devotional’
reads, meaning the chapters are short (about 2 to 5 pages long) and
provide good content on which to reflect. If you'd like to read more about the book or purchase it

In
Christ Aloneby Sinclair Ferguson.
As
the title suggests, this book reflects both on the person of Christ as well as
his work -- the redemption he has accomplished as well as how it is applied in
our lives. Generally, each short chapter focuses on a
particular passage of Scripture so you can see clearly how his words are rooted
in the Bible. The book has great content and is easy
to read.
Whiter
than Snow: Meditations on Sin and Mercyby Paul David Tripp.
Even shorter chapters (or as the title calls them, ‘meditations’)
taken from Psalm 51, a psalm written by David reflecting on the depth of his
sin. This book helps us think about the gravity of our sin while
still keeping in clear view the grace of God. The end of each
chapter has a couple of questions for personal reflection.
