A number of you will be familiar with some of the stories from the Old Testament book of Daniel -- Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the furnace or Daniel in the lion's den. But more than examples to emulate, the book of Daniel is about the kingdom of God and how God manifests his rule in the midst of the kingdoms of this world. 

Particularly as college students, preparing for your place in the world, there are great things to learn as you think about faithful service in the kingdom of God even as you continue to work and live within the kingdoms of this world.
