Reaching students for Christ and equipping them to serve.
RUF is a ministry “to students, through students, under the oversight of a campus minister.” We are not staff-driven, so there are significant ways students get to be part of reaching UGA with God’s grace and seeing God work through their friends.
We are also not merely student-run, so students are never on their own. Seminary-trained staff and seasoned student leaders pursue and pour into them at every point along the way.

RUF life is built from both: gathering as a whole ministry and slowing down long enough to know the people beside you.
Rooted beyond campus
Campus ministry is a pathway into church life, not a replacement for it.
RUF is not a replacement for the church, but the foodtruck of the church reaching out to UGA. We want students to put down roots, know and be known, and grow in a local congregation during their college years.
