Fall 2025 Community Groups
RUF COMMUNITY GROUPS: In RUF, the core of our approach to ministry is the cultivation of Gospel-rooted relationships. It’s not enough to simply know things about God; these realities need to be experienced and lived out in relationships to gain traction and generate change. Our community groups are designed to be places where both believers and skeptics can feel at home and grow. Groups consist of anywhere from 10-20 students who gather together weekly in a leader’s house.
RUF “SPRINT SERIES”: Looking for something shorter term and on-campus? Sprints are staff-led, on-campus, 5-week long groups that meet to focus on a particular topic. Sprint topics will be announced and signups will open a few weeks into Fall Semester. You can learn more here.
LOCAL CHURCH COMMUNITY GROUPS: If you’ve found a local church here in Athens (especially you seniors!), we’d strongly encourage you to consider the value of joining a community group at your church so you can be building relationships among the full generational spectrum of Christ’s church. Let us know if you need help connecting to your church’s community groups and we’ll gladly assist! RUF FALL 2025 COMMUNITY GROUPS: You can join these groups at any point during the semester. Groups begin meeting the week of August 25th and groups DO meet the night of Labor Day holiday if it’s a Monday group.
