Conferences and Retreats

A few times during the year, RUF is committed to getting out of town and gathering with other RUF students from around Georgia, the region, and the country for conferences.   These conferences are times of unparalleled spiritual, relational, and personal growth--and they're unforgettably fun!  When registrations for each of these trips "open" (usually 3 weeks prior to the retreat), the links below will become active and you can click on them to sign up.  Any enrolled UGA, UNG, or Athens Tech student 18 or older is welcome to join us. We work hard to keep costs as low as possible and scholarship help is always available if you need it!

    FALL       CONFERENCE

Fall Con happens within the first two months of fall semester on an away-game weekend.  It's the perfect time to get out of town with new (and old) friends to deepen relationships, hear excellent and thought-provoking teaching, and enjoy the outdoors.  FallCon 2025 is happening the weekend of October 10th—October 12th at the amazing Sharp Top Cove Camp in Jasper, GA—a two hour drive from UGA. 

      WINter        RETREAT 

Winter Retreat is our chance to get up into the mountains by ourselves without all the distractions of larger conferences.  As such, it's the perfect time to solidify new friendships you made in the fall or, if you're a new transfer student, make quick connections.  Winter Retreat 2026 will happen at RidgeHaven Camp near Brevard, NC the weekend of January 30th—Feb 1st 2026.

Summer     conference

Summer Conference (or "SuCo"), is an amazing week-long conference in Laguna Beach, Florida.  About 60 of us from UGA make the five hour drive down each year to enjoy a week of unparalleled relationship-building time, top-notch teaching and seminars, and time for profound spiritual growth. SuCo 2026 is scheduled for the week following UGA graduation in May. Check back here or on our social media in March for more details on the trip and be prepared to signup as spaces fill up rapidly.
